21 AUG: Chest and Back

I have to say, this bodybuilder crap is SOOOO boring. I prefer the constant change within a single training session. But since I want to get a little more mass, this is the right thing to do.

The session was:

1A) Pullups: 6, 6, 6, 5
1B) Incline Bench press: 155 x 6, 8, 9, 6

2) Inverted Row: 10, 10, 9, 10

3) Flat bench press: 135 x 10, 10, 10, 6

Nothing fancy, nothing special.

Yeah I know. Athletes train functions and movements vs. training a muscle the way a body builder does. The thing is, I want to get a little bigger before going back to athletic training.

I don't see many crossfitters that have significant hypertrophy. Also, I don't know of any bodybuilders that can hang with the output of a Crossfitter. I intend to do both.

I start my complexes and whole body training in 2 weeks. Until then, its body part training with the primary goal of non-functional hypertrophy.
